Mars Perseverance 2020

Mustard Lab Alumnus Jesse Tarnas is a NASA Postdoctoral Fellow who contributed significantly to the Mars 2020 mission. He studies the rover landing site using data acquired from orbit and from the ground. This helps determine how the rocks there formed, and if any formed in habitable environments that might preserve bio signatures. He also participates in mission operations for Mars 2020.
